Chunri, Mountain indigenous township in Pingtung County, Taiwan
Chunrih is a mountain indigenous township in Pingtung County made up of six separate settlements at roughly 639 meters elevation. The villages of Chunri, Guhua, Shiwen, Qijia, Guichong, and Lili form distinct communities within this administrative area.
The area gained formal recognition as an indigenous administrative unit after World War II following major migration waves and governmental reorganization in Taiwan. These changes led to its establishment as a distinct township with special status for its resident communities.
