Linhousilin Forest Park

Linhousilin Forest Park is a forest reserve in Chaozhou Township covering roughly 1,000 hectares of lowland terrain. The area protects native plant and animal species within their natural environment while offering paths and facilities for visitors to explore.

The forest reserve was established in 2014 as part of a regional development initiative aimed at long-term landscape protection. Initial development covered approximately 85 hectares, which were later expanded.

The park hosts contemporary art installations positioned within the natural landscape, merging creative expression with outdoor exploration. Visitors encounter works by local artists as they walk, many of which explore environmental themes and human connection to nature.

The park features clearly marked trails and rest areas positioned throughout the grounds, with information points explaining the local environment. Visitors have access to restroom facilities at multiple locations and can reach the park by public transportation from nearby towns.

The park features an audio art installation with recorded bird calls and environmental sounds designed to be experienced through portable devices while walking the trails. This auditory experience adds a distinctive layer to exploring the forest and its wildlife.
