Liujiao Township, Administrative township in Chiayi County, Taiwan.
Liujiao Township spans across 62 square kilometers of the Chianan Plain in northwest Chiayi County, containing residential areas and agricultural lands.
The township office started operations on January 18, 1946, when the area belonged to Tainan County, before becoming part of Chiayi County in 1950.
The Zhecheng Cultural Park and the Tomb of General Wang De-lu stand as historical monuments that reflect the local traditions and heritage.
Multiple transportation routes connect the township to urban centers, with the Beigang Tourist Bridge serving as a principal access point for visitors.
Minister of Justice Liao Cheng-hao, who held office from 1996 to 1998, originated from this agricultural township in southwestern Taiwan.
