Ba'an Bridge

Ba'an Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge that spans the Tamsui River and connects Sanxia District with neighboring areas. The structure accommodates multiple traffic lanes for cars, motorcycles, and bicycles in a modern design.

The bridge opened in 2007, marking an important step forward in connecting transportation networks across New Taipei districts. Since then, it has become essential for moving people and goods through the region.

The main tower incorporates a design based on the Chinese character for north, blending traditional symbols into modern infrastructure. This design choice reflects how local cultural meanings shape the appearance of contemporary public works.

The bridge is most accessible during daylight hours when lanes and pathways are clearly visible. Pedestrians and cyclists should use the designated areas to cross safely.
