Asia Plaza Building

Asia Plaza Building is a 27-story tower in central Taipei that combines office spaces with shops and services across its height. Lower floors hold a department store, while upper levels contain offices, hotels, and educational institutions.

The tower was completed in 1990 by architect C.Y. Lee and stood as the tallest building in West Taipei at the time. Its reign at the top lasted just 3 years before a taller structure took over in 1993.

The building brings together office workers, shoppers, and students under one roof, creating a busy mixing point where different groups of people cross paths throughout the day.
