Toko University was a private institution in Puzi that organized its academic programs across four main colleges: General Education, Economy and Management, Human Ecology, and Technology and Design. The school offered bachelor's and master's degrees in fields ranging from business administration and social work to computer networks and hotel management.
The university was founded in August 2001 and operated as a higher education institution for about two decades. It ceased operations in July 2021 following approval from the Ministry of Education.
The university maintained programs in performing arts, communication arts, and visual arts while emphasizing both theoretical knowledge and practical applications across disciplines.
The campus was located in an area with reasonable accessibility and provided students with various facilities to support their studies. The grounds included teaching buildings, a library, and spaces designed for student activities and daily campus life.
The institution struggled with enrollment challenges, reporting roughly 37 percent student registration in 2019. These ongoing difficulties eventually led to the decision to close the school.
