Erlun Story House

Erlun Story House is a cultural center in Lunxi Village housed within a red brick and wooden structure that displays local agricultural products and traditional practices through hands-on exhibits. The building serves as an educational space where visitors learn about farming methods and rural life through these interactive installations.

The building was originally constructed as a police station in 1899, making it the first of its kind in Yunlin County. It underwent significant renovation in 1926 before eventually being repurposed as a cultural space.

The house serves as a gathering place where local narratives about farming and village life are shared and celebrated with visitors. The storytelling programs here connect people to the agricultural heritage that still shapes the character of this region.

The facility operates Wednesday through Friday and Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00, with extended Saturday hours from 13:00 to 21:00. Plan your visit according to these hours to make the most of the interactive exhibits and ongoing programs.
