Mitsui Outlet Park Tainan, an outlet mall in Gueiren District, Tainan City, Taiwan
Mitsui Outlet Park Tainan is a four-story shopping center operating since 2022 in southern Taiwan. The complex houses approximately 190 stores spread across three retail floors with shops and restaurants, while the top level functions as a parking garage.
The center opened in February 2022 as the first Japanese-style outlet shopping mall in southern Taiwan. It marked an expansion of the city's retail sector with modern international standards for outlet shopping in the region.
The outlet blends shopping culture with local Tainan elements visible in its design. Red ceramic tiles and wood-like walkways reference the city's red mangrove trees, connecting shopping to regional identity and creating a place where visitors experience both global brands and local character.
The center is accessible within a five-minute walk from high-speed and regular train stations, with shuttle buses available from the rail station. Free parking is available with qualifying purchases, and standard opening hours run from 11:00 to 21:30, though individual stores may have different schedules.
The center plans to expand to around 230 stores by 2025, potentially becoming the largest shopping destination in the city area. This expansion reflects the growing role of the park as a major retail destination in Tainan.
