Old House of Su Family, Taiye

The Old House of Su Family contains more than fifty rooms spread across 4,000 square meters, featuring traditional wooden and brick construction methods.

The residence dates back to the Qing Dynasty period and served as a central meeting point for important village discussions and family gatherings.

The interior spaces include dedicated areas for ancestor worship, with memorial tablets and shrine rooms that reflect traditional Taiwanese family practices.

Visitors can reach the location by taking public transportation to Yuanshan MRT station and walking approximately one kilometer to the entrance.

The house presents original antique furniture pieces, including an eight-legged bed and stone mill that demonstrate daily life from past centuries.
