Liuxingjing Baoxi Temple, Traditional temple in North District, Tainan, Taiwan.

Liuxingjing Baoxi Temple is a temple in North District, Tainan built from wood and brick that features ornate guardian figures depicting historical characters outlined in gold on its walls. The interior displays traditional craftsmanship with detailed carved and painted elements throughout the space.

The temple received an inscribed plaque reading 'Protecting the People' from Wang Delu in 1832, highlighting its importance in local affairs. This official recognition shows that the site gained prominence as a significant gathering place early in its existence.

The temple serves as a place where locals gather to perform traditional worship and participate in community celebrations dedicated to Baosheng Dadi. These gatherings reflect the importance of religious practice and shared traditions in the neighborhood's daily life.

The temple is located on Chenggong Road and can be reached by Tainan Loop Route 88 or City Bus Number 2 from the train station. Visitors should dress modestly and check opening hours ahead of time, as the site may have limited access during major festivals.

The temple grounds contain two special wells called longhujing representing the sun and moon, holding symbolic meaning in Taoist design philosophy. An older visitors hall from earlier periods also stands on the grounds, documenting how the structure evolved over time.
