Klevan is an urban-type settlement positioned along the Stubla River in western Ukraine, covering approximately 54.6 square kilometers at an elevation of 218 meters above sea level with a population of around 7,650 residents.
Founded in 1458 and first documented as a possession of the prominent Czartoryski family, Klevan received Magdeburg rights from King John II Casimir Vasa in 1654, allowing the establishment of markets and fairs.
