Olshanske, Administrative settlement in Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukraine
Olchanske sits on elevated terrain at 70 meters above sea level, with the Southern Bug River flowing approximately 3 kilometers from its boundaries.
The settlement emerged in 1961 when construction began on a cement plant, initially named Hryhorievka Cement Plant within the Varvarivka administrative region.
The settlement received its name in 1968 to commemorate Konstantin Olshansky, who received recognition as a Hero of the Soviet Union.
The railway station in Olchanske connects to the Mykolaiv-Tokarivka line, providing transportation links to major cities including Odesa and Voznesensk.
A population of 3,582 residents maintains connections to both industrial development through the cement plant and agricultural traditions in the region.
