The Kyiv State Academic Puppet Theatre is a puppet theatre located in European Square, housed in a purpose-built venue. The space features a main hall seating 300 and a smaller space for about 100 spectators, where regular performances for children and adults take place.
The theatre was founded in 1927 and grew as part of Kyiv's developing arts scene. The current building opened in 2005, giving the theatre a new home with modern facilities.
