Water Museum, Water education center in Khreshchatyi Park, Ukraine
The Water Museum occupies two restored water towers from the 1870s, featuring exhibits about water supply systems and environmental conservation principles.
The museum opened in 2003 through collaboration between Kyiv government and Danish environmental authorities during the Environment for Europe conference.
The facility includes technical displays, aqua parks, and specialized theaters that demonstrate water management methods to 100,000 annual visitors.
Tours in Ukrainian and Russian operate Wednesday through Friday from 10:00 to 16:00, and weekends from 10:00 to 17:00, with English tours upon request.
Visitors explore a historic underground water tank from 1909 while learning about hydraulic engineering through interactive displays and hands-on experiments.
