Water Museum

The Water Museum occupies two restored water towers dating from the 1870s and displays exhibits covering water supply systems, environmental conservation, and hydraulic engineering. Inside, visitors can explore a historic underground water tank from 1909 while engaging with interactive displays and hands-on experiments.

The water towers were built in the 1870s as part of Kyiv's infrastructure to store and distribute water across the city. The museum was established in 2003 and documents the development of water management systems over time.

The exhibits reveal how water shapes daily life in the city and connects people to essential resources they often take for granted. Visitors encounter displays that show water's role in urban development and human survival.
