Velyka Novosilka

Velyka Novosilka is a settlement in Donetsk Oblast positioned on the eastern bank of the Mokri Yaly River, where different neighborhoods blend together across several kilometers. The layout includes residential areas, local shops, and administrative buildings distributed along its main streets.

The settlement was founded in 1779 when colonists from Mariupol and Crimea established their community in this location. It operated under a different name until 1946, when it was renamed to what it is called today.
