Volodymyrivka

Volodymyrivka is a settlement in eastern Ukraine positioned at a modest elevation within the Volnovakha region. The community is laid out with connected pathways linking its residential zones across gently rolling terrain.

The settlement was established in 1840 and later experienced armed conflict during the war for Ukrainian independence. These events left a mark on the community's development and identity.

In 1853, the residents built a wooden temple for the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, which the Soviet authorities later converted into a cultural center.

The settlement is walkable and can be explored with local transportation options. Visitors should plan their visit around daylight hours, as the pace of life here follows a quiet rhythm typical of smaller communities.

Recent legislative changes in Ukraine will transform Volodymyrivka from an urban-type settlement classification to a new administrative status by 2024.
