The kenesa was constructed in 1899 through initiatives of the Pangulov brothers, Ivan Aivaz, and Boris Babay to replace an older Karaite synagogue.
The structure represents a connection between Jewish heritage and Islamic architectural influences, reflecting the distinct identity of the Karaite Jewish community.
Located at coordinates 46.7533 latitude and 36.7917 longitude, the kenesa stands at 16 Chervona Street in the Zaporozhye region.
The building remains one of the few surviving examples of Moorish Revival architecture in Ukraine, featuring horseshoe arches and decorative tilework.
