Kharkiv Choral Synagogue, Gothic and Moorish Revival synagogue in Pushkinska Street, Kharkiv, Ukraine.
The Kharkiv Choral Synagogue features a striking dome reaching 42 meters in height and spans 50 meters in length across its main structure.
Built in 1913 under architect Valentin Feldmann's design, the synagogue underwent nationalization during Soviet times and served as a club and cinema until its return.
The interior contains stained glass windows created by Eugeny Kotlyar between 1995 and 2005, depicting traditional Jewish holiday themes and religious symbols.
The synagogue complex includes a mikveh ritual bath, a yeshiva religious school, and educational facilities serving 500 Jewish children in the community.
During the 1998 ownership dispute between Reform Judaism and Chabad groups, a fire damaged the building, leading to its transfer to Chabad in 2003.
