Holy Trinity Church, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Religious building in Kamianets-Podilskyi, Ukraine.
Holy Trinity Church is a building with an oval plan located on a large square in the center of the historic city. The structure features an altar on the eastern side, a choir room on the southern side, and a bell tower on the western side.
The building was constructed around 1582 and served as a mosque during Turkish occupation from 1672 to 1699. After the end of this occupation, it returned to Christian use.
The church occupies a central square where locals and visitors gather in the heart of the Old Town. The building reflects the different communities that have inhabited this city and how they shaped this place over time.
Access to the church is near the entrance to the Old Town and easy to locate. The building underwent full renovation between 2006 and 2008 and was later consecrated, so it remains in good condition today.
The building shares architectural features with two other 16th-century churches in the city: the Peter and Paul Church and the Ioanno-Predtechynska Church. These three structures display a related building style from the same period.
