Lower Polissia is a nature park in Khmelnytskyi Oblast covering approximately 8,700 hectares with pine forests, lakes, marshlands, and wetlands around the Horyn River valley. These varied habitats spread across the grounds and offer a mix of different landscape types.
The park was designated in 2008 through a presidential decree to protect regional ecosystems and officially established on August 2, 2013. This recognition marked an important step in securing these valuable natural areas.
