Tash-Koy

Tash-Koy is an archaeological grave field containing multiple stone burial boxes scattered across the Baydar Valley landscape. The structures form distinct patterns and show varying degrees of preservation.

The graves date from early settlement periods and reveal burial practices of ancient peoples in the region. These stone structures were constructed over hundreds of years and served as resting places for the dead.

The stone burial boxes show construction techniques that reflect the knowledge of ancient communities on the Crimean Peninsula. Visitors can observe how these structures were built and what materials were used.

The site is remote and best reached by personal vehicle or organized tour due to limited public transport access. Since structures are exposed to the elements, visitors should prepare for changing weather conditions.

The stone boxes have undergone minimal archaeological restoration, allowing visitors to see the structures largely as they were originally built. This authenticity makes the grave field a valuable record of ancient construction methods.
