Екопарк «Долина Вовків», приватний екопарк в селі Синевірська поляна Закарпатської області
Ecopark Dolina Vovkiv is a wildlife facility near Synevyrska Polyana that houses wolves, lions, tigers, lynxes, and other rescued animals. The grounds feature natural habitats with viewing paths where visitors can watch animals in their everyday environment.
The facility opened in 2019, starting with wolves purchased from poachers and later expanding to include animals from poor conditions and other facilities. This establishment marked a significant effort to rescue and rehabilitate endangered species in the region.
The park was created to give rescued and rehabilitated animals a safe home while teaching visitors about wildlife protection and natural behavior. People come here to witness how wolves and other predators live when cared for properly.
The site is accessible on foot from the village center, with the walk taking about half an hour and requiring sturdy shoes. Summer brings warm daylight, while winters are cold, so visitors should dress appropriately for the season they plan to visit.
The founder, Yuriy Tyukh, personally leads tours and shares stories about individual animals and how they were rescued from dangerous situations. This direct connection allows visitors to hear rescue stories firsthand and understand each animal's background.
