Дача Я. П. Семёнова, Art Nouveau mansion in Simeiz, Ukraine
The Semenov residence is an Art Nouveau mansion built with curved lines, decorative wooden balconies, and ornamental details throughout. The house was later divided into multiple apartments and sits on Sovetskaya Street with views toward Mount Koshka.
A military engineer named Jacob Semenov purchased the land in 1902 and had a 17-room house built according to his vision. Architect Nikolai Krasnov designed the building's facades.
The villa carries the name of its original builder and reflects the era when wealthy families established homes along the southern coast. Walking around the building today, you can observe the refined details and surrounding parkland that speak to this way of life.
The building sits on Sovetskaya Street near Mount Koshka and is visible from the street. As you explore the area, you will be able to see the Art Nouveau details and the park grounds from various viewpoints.
The property includes a small park with Lebanese cedar trees and provides views of the Black Sea from its terraces. These multi-level gardens show how the original owners cleverly used the sloped terrain.
