Yardley, Historic borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States

Yardley spans 1 square mile along the Delaware River, featuring the Delaware Canal towpath that connects the northwestern and southeastern parts of the borough.

William Yeardley purchased 519 acres from William Penn for ten pounds sterling in 1682, establishing the first settlement on Dolington Road with a log cabin.

The borough holds regular community events at Buttonwood Park, including a seasonal farmers market operating from May through December and an annual Memorial Day Parade.

The Borough Office provides administrative services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with Wednesday designated for trash and recycling collection.

The Train Collectors Association, an organization dedicated to model train enthusiasts and collectors, established its foundation in Yardley during 1954.
