Morrisville is a borough in eastern Pennsylvania situated near the New Jersey border, positioned on the eastern bank of the Delaware River. The community spans several miles with a mix of older residential neighborhoods and newer commercial districts.
The area developed during colonial times and witnessed key events during the American Revolution, including river crossings of the Delaware. Its importance as a transportation junction shaped growth from the 1700s onward.
