Conshohocken, Industrial borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania

Located along the Schuylkill River, Conshohocken extends across 1.04 square miles and contains multiple commercial districts with office buildings and residential areas.

The settlement started as Matson's Ford in 1820, received its current name from the Unami language in 1830, and developed into a manufacturing center with textile mills.

The Conshohocken Free Library enriches the community through educational programs, including the Seed Catalog project and cooking classes that connect residents with local traditions.

Two SEPTA Regional Rail stations serve the borough, while Fayette Street functions as the main thoroughfare connecting residential neighborhoods to commercial areas.

The Schuylkill Expressway forms a notable curve around the borough, known as the Conshohocken curve, which marks a significant point in Philadelphia regional transportation.
