Village of Pelham Manor

Pelham Manor is a residential community on the eastern edge of Westchester County, featuring tree-lined streets and residential neighborhoods spread across green spaces and water areas. The Four Corners area at the intersection of Boston Post Road and Pelhamdale Avenue provides two mini strip malls for residents.

The community was incorporated in 1891 and expanded its boundaries in 1915 when Prospect Hill Village, one of the region's earliest settlements, joined the municipality. This expansion helped shape the community into its present form.

The community preserves three buildings listed in the National Register of Historic Places: Bolton Priory, Edgewood House, and Pelhamdale. These structures reflect the local architectural heritage and the settlement's past.

The community is easy to navigate, with clear streets and local shops concentrated mainly around the crossroads area. Keep in mind this is primarily a residential area, so most amenities are designed for residents.

The village is governed by an elected mayor who oversees dedicated departments for police, fire, and public works. This local government structure allows the community to operate independently and respond to resident needs.
