St. Florian Church, Gothic Revival church in Hamtramck, United States
The church features a 200-foot spire, six bays with rib vaults painted blue, and stained glass windows made by Kase Company of New York.
The parish began in 1907 to support Polish immigrants, with construction of the current structure starting in 1926 and completing in 1928.
The church maintains strong bonds with Polish traditions through religious ceremonies, connecting generations of families who received sacraments within its walls.
Located at 2626 Poland Street, St. Florian Church serves approximately 600 parishioners and conducts regular masses in the St. Florian Historic District.
The design by Ralph Adams Cram received recognition from American Architect magazine in 1929 for its modified English Gothic structure.
