Built between 1889 and 1890 by architect Montrose Morris and developer Louis F. Seitz, this building marked a shift toward upscale multi-family residences.
The structure combines Romanesque Revival and Queen Anne architectural styles with patterned brick, stone bandcourses, quoins, and carved brackets throughout its design.
