Belleville Turnpike Bridge, Vertical-lift road bridge in North Arlington, New Jersey, US.
The Belleville Turnpike Bridge spans 324.2 feet across the Passaic River, featuring five spans and a movable central section that rises for river vessels.
The bridge location dates to 1790 when Anthony Rutgers established the first wooden structure, which underwent multiple replacements before the current version opened in 2002.
In 2013, the bridge received the name Lance Corporal Osbrany Montes de Oca Memorial Bridge to honor a U.S. Marine who died in Afghanistan.
The structure carries New Jersey Route 7 traffic with a width of 67.6 feet and maintains a clearance of 49.9 feet when lifted for maritime navigation.
The bridge marks the exact meeting point of three counties: Essex, Hudson, and Bergen, connecting the municipalities of Belleville, Kearny, and North Arlington.
