Bellevue State Park

The 340-acre park features extensive woodlands, gardens, and meadows intersected by numerous trails for outdoor activities near Wilmington, Delaware.

The land became a state park in 1976 after serving as the private estate of William du Pont Jr., with Bellevue Hall remaining as its architectural centerpiece.

Regular outdoor concerts at the bandshell and seasonal events unite local communities while celebrating Delaware's natural and historical heritage.

The park maintains multiple facilities including a fitness track, playground, tennis courts, and stables, with paved pathways accommodating visitors of all mobility levels.

The property contains an arboretum showcasing more than 50 tree species and features a catch-and-release fishing pond encircled by a dedicated fitness track.
