Berkshire Mill No. 1, Industrial cotton mill in Adams, Massachusetts, United States.

The three-story red brick building features granite foundations, segmented-arch windows, and a four-story tower with round-arch openings on its south facade.

Constructed in 1895 by the Plunkett family, Berkshire Mill No. 1 received recognition on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 for its industrial significance.

The mill represents the industrial textile heritage of Adams, where generations of local workers manufactured fine cotton fabrics during the manufacturing era.

The historic structure now contains 65 residential apartments managed by Harvest Properties LLC, following its transformation from industrial use in 1987.

President William McKinley participated in the expansion of the Berkshire Cotton Manufacturing Company by laying the cornerstone for Mill No. 4 in 1900.
