Café Brauer

Café Brauer is a two-story brick structure located in Lincoln Park with views overlooking a lagoon. Its interior features Tiffany-inspired chandeliers, stained glass windows, and decorative tile mosaics throughout the space.

Designed by architect Dwight H. Perkins and completed in 1908, it was built as a public dining establishment funded by the Brauer family. The building became part of Chicago's food and event landscape over the following decades.

The second floor's Great Hall serves as a popular event venue where Chicagoans gather for celebrations and meetings. You can observe how the space functions as a social gathering place for the community.

The space can accommodate groups of up to 500 people and offers accessibility features for convenient entry. Its proximity to direct road access from Stockton Drive makes it easy to locate and reach.

The building connects to the Nature Boardwalk at Lincoln Park Zoo, where visitors can observe native plants and wildlife. A circular drive in front of the building enhances its functional design.
