Constructed between 1925 and 1927 by Doyle & Co under the architectural direction of Day & Klauder, the building served as headquarters for Drexel and Company until the 1930s.
The architectural elements of the building represent the financial sector's influence on Philadelphia's urban development during the early twentieth century banking expansion.
Located at 135-143 South 15th Street in Philadelphia, the property spans 0.3 acres and received National Register of Historic Places designation in February 1980.
