Sitori-i-Mokhi Khosa palace

The palace complex includes three main buildings within rose gardens, featuring halls adorned with Venetian mirrors and Japanese decorative elements.

Commissioned in the mid-19th century by Emir Nasrullah Khan, the current palace structure was rebuilt between 1912 and 1918 by the last Emir of Bukhara.

The palace demonstrates the fusion of Central Asian and European architecture, with Russian-influenced facades and local artisan interior decorations.

Located 4 kilometers from central Bukhara, the palace museum displays original furniture, porcelain works, and traditional crafts from the 14th to 20th centuries.

The site selection followed a traditional method where meat was placed at different locations, with the spot where it remained fresh longest chosen for construction.
