Church of St. Constantine and Helena

The Church of St. Constantine and Helena features a wooden structure with a bell tower rising above 30 meters in the southeast district of Caracas.

Romanian craftsmen from Maramureș built this religious edifice in 1999 using traditional wooden construction methods without nails or metal components.

The interior displays neo-Byzantine religious paintings created by Romanian artists Titiana Nitu Popa and Mihaela Profiriu, following Orthodox artistic traditions.

Located within La Lagunita Country Club in El Hatillo municipality, the church regularly holds Orthodox liturgies and religious celebrations for the local community.

This structure represents one of only two Romanian Orthodox wooden churches built outside Romania, replicating the design of the Șurdești church.
