The Caracas Venezuela Temple stands at the base of Cerro El Ávila mountains, featuring modern architecture with granite exterior and a single spire.
The construction of this temple began in January 1999 and encountered challenges including two landslides caused by an underground spring during excavation.
The temple provides religious services and ceremonies to 85,000 members across sixteen stakes and eleven districts throughout Venezuela.
Located at Urb Caurimare Avenida C con Calle C-1, the temple includes two ordinance rooms, two sealing rooms, and one baptistry for religious ceremonies.
Before this temple opened in 2000, Venezuelan members traveled 2,000 miles to the Lima Peru Temple for religious ceremonies and gatherings.
