Alfredo Sadel square, Public square in Las Mercedes, Miranda, Venezuela.

Alfredo Sadel square is located along the main avenue of Las Mercedes and features modern architectural design with four distinctive flag poles as focal points. The space serves as a central junction connecting various parts of the neighborhood.

The square underwent complete renovation in 2007 when artistic flag poles designed by Venezuelan artist Magdalena Fernández were installed. This transformation gave the space its contemporary appearance that visitors see today.

The square functions as a gathering place where residents and visitors come together for outdoor events like book fairs and concerts. You can observe the space being used regularly for community activities and public celebrations throughout the year.

The square is located along the main avenue of Las Mercedes with good public transportation connections throughout the day. Visitors can access the open space anytime and find places to sit and rest in the shade of surrounding elements.

During the early 1990s, this plaza was the primary skateboarding hub in eastern Caracas, drawing international athletes for demonstrations. This history reflects how the space has served different communities and activities over the decades.
