Country Club, Residential district in Miranda and Chacao, Venezuela.
Country Club is a residential district in eastern Caracas that spans approximately 92 hectares and includes luxury homes with private gardens and an 18-hole golf course. Properties in this area range from 395 to 5,500 square meters in size and offer different housing options for various budgets.
Development of the district started in 1928 on the grounds of the former Blandin, La Granja, and El Saman haciendas by the Olmsted Associates architectural firm. This American company was known for designing garden cities and shaped the modern structure of the area.
The district preserves several century-old trees such as bucares, mijaos, and chaguaramos that reflect traditional Caracas garden design. These trees create green spaces that still remind visitors of the original landscape.
As an established residential area, the neighborhood offers good access roads and is well connected to the rest of Caracas. Visitors should keep in mind that this is a private residential community, so respectful behavior toward residents is important.
The area is one of the few places in Caracas where parts of the original valley landscape remain visible before the city expanded further. These green spaces and the natural topography stand out clearly from the rest of the modern city.
