Construction of the Country Club began in 1928 on the former Blandin, La Granja, and El Saman haciendas by the Olmsted Associates architectural firm.
The district preserves numerous century-old trees including bucares, mijaos, and chaguaramos, reflecting traditional Caracas agricultural landscape design.

This neighborhood remains the only location in Caracas where visitors can observe the original valley landscape before urban development.
