The church features a neo-Romanesque architectural style with a prominent 47-meter tower and extends 84 meters in length by 35 meters in width.
The construction of La Chiquinquirá Church began in 1942 on the former grounds of Club La Florida and reached completion with its consecration in 1958.
The interior space houses numerous religious artworks, including statues and paintings that represent the devotion to Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquirá.
The church building spans 2,940 square meters and provides seating capacity for one thousand people during religious services and ceremonies.
The authorship of the church design involves both Manuel Mujica Millán's initial project and Edgar Pardo Stolk's execution based on the original plans.
