La Chiquinquirá Church

La Chiquinquirá Church is a religious building in the La Florida district of Caracas designed in a neo-Romanesque style. The structure features a prominent tower, a long interior nave, and accommodates a thousand worshippers during services.

Construction began in 1942 on land that once held a private club and the building was consecrated in 1958. The project evolved from initial architectural designs developed by two professionals working together.

The interior holds numerous religious artworks, including statues and paintings dedicated to the venerated saint. These works create a spiritual atmosphere that visitors experience as they move through the space.
