The Estadio Olímpico features a dual structure design with separate bleachers and a covered grandstand, accommodating 24,900 spectators within its oval configuration.
Venezuelan architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva designed this stadium, which opened on December 5, 1951 as part of the Ciudad Universitaria development plan from 1944.
The stadium entrance displays Francisco Narváez's sculpture 'The Athlete' while murals by Armando Barrios and Carlos González Bogen decorate the path to the field.
The venue serves as home ground for multiple football teams including Caracas F.C., Deportivo La Guaira, Metropolitanos F.C., and Universidad Central.
The stadium's thin slab roof supported by ribs creates a floating effect, while its C-shaped covered grandstand provides structural support for both roof and stands.
