Previsora Tower

Previsora Tower is a 24-story office building that stands 117 meters tall on Plaza Venezuela in Caracas. Its most striking feature is the illuminated clock face mounted on the facade, which can be seen from many parts of the city.

The building was constructed between 1970 and 1973 under the design of architects Bernardo Borges, Francisco Pimentel, and Jacobo Koifman. It reflects the modernist style of that era, when Caracas was expanding rapidly and gaining new landmarks.

The building's name comes from the insurance company that commissioned it and occupied its offices for decades. Locals recognize it instantly by its modern silhouette and the oversized clock that has become a familiar landmark on the plaza.

The building is located at the central Plaza Venezuela and is easily reached by public transportation. The illuminated clock is clearly visible from outside and serves as an orientation point for many people throughout the city.

The clock on the facade is a Patek Philippe timepiece, one of the world's most prestigious watchmakers. This luxury instrument was specifically chosen for the tower, showing the importance of the building to the city.
