Cararacas Sphere

The Cararacas Sphere is a sculpture garden in Caracas featuring abstract metal and stone works positioned along pathways set among native plants. The space displays multiple artistic pieces within a natural setting where sculptures and vegetation coexist together.

Francisco Narváez began introducing contemporary artistic elements to Venezuelan sculpture during the 1930s, shaping how this art form developed in the country. His work laid the foundation for the modern sculpture spaces that came afterward.

The sculptures here show how local artists combine traditional materials with contemporary forms while expressing ideas rooted in the country's past. Walking through, you notice how this blend appears in each piece on display.

The garden is accessible during daylight hours, with guided tours available through the on-site administration office. Wear comfortable shoes since you will be walking paths to see all the artworks.
