Residencia Presidencial La Casona

The mansion covers five hectares with spacious corridors, internal courtyards, fountains filled with water lilies, and gardens containing tropical fruit trees.

The property began as a sugarcane plantation called La Pastora during colonial times before the Venezuelan government acquired it from the Brandt family in 1964.

The Major Audience Hall features Louis XIV furniture in earth tones and ochre, with a portrait of Simon Bolivar by Pedro Centeno Vallenilla.

The residence sits near Francisco de Miranda Park, Bolivar Park, and La Carlota Air Base in the Leoncio Martinez Parish of Miranda State.

In December 2019, the presidential residence transformed into the Aquiles Nazoa Cultural Center, opening its gardens and rooms to public visits.
