Construction of the Nuevo Circo began in 1916 at the former municipal slaughterhouse site, opening its doors to the public in 1919.
The venue transformed from a bullfighting arena into a multipurpose space hosting theatrical performances, cinema screenings, and community gatherings.
The structure accommodates 9,000 spectators and stands near the Nuevo Circo metro station, providing convenient access for visitors.
Engineers employed experimental reinforced concrete construction methods with metal beams, marking an advancement in Venezuelan architectural techniques.
