Provincial Tower

The Provincial Tower is a 40-story office building of glass and concrete in the northwest section of Caracas, reaching 159 meters (521 feet) in height. It functions primarily as the headquarters of BBVA Provincial Bank, with its floors dedicated to financial services and administrative operations.

Construction began in 1979 and was completed in 1984, making it one of the five tallest office towers in Venezuela. Its development occurred during a period of economic expansion when demand for modern business facilities grew throughout the capital.

The tower reflects the confidence of an era when Caracas expanded as a regional financial center and modern office buildings reshaped the city's look. Its design embodies the building principles of that period, which used glass and concrete as symbols of progress.
