The Mosque of Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Ibrahim encompasses 5000 square meters with a 23-meter-high dome and a minaret rising 113 meters into the sky.
Construction of this religious structure began in 1989 under Sheikh Ibrahim Bin Abdulaziz's direction and reached completion in 1993, designed by architect Zuhair Fayez.
The mosque maintains its position as the second largest Islamic place of worship in Latin America, following the King Fahd Islamic Cultural Center in Buenos Aires.
The religious complex includes basketball courts, soccer fields, Arabic language classrooms, conference facilities, and dedicated spaces for funeral preparations.
The minaret of this mosque stands as the tallest in the Americas, marking the skyline of Caracas with its distinctive vertical presence.
