Hoàng Mai

Hoàng Mai is an urban district in Hanoi composed of fourteen wards, including Dai Kim, Dinh Cong, and Giap Bat. The district covers a large area and contains diverse residential and commercial zones serving its population.

The district was created in 2003 through a government decree that combined five wards from Hai Ba Trung with nine communes from Thanh Tri. This merger established the foundation for the area's current organization and development.

Local community centers throughout the district serve as gathering places where residents celebrate traditions and organize events throughout the year. These spaces show how neighborhoods maintain their identity and connection to one another.

The area is well-connected by public transportation, with numerous bus lines linking it to central Hanoi. Visitors can easily navigate using buses and explore different parts of the district.

Thinh Liet serves as the administrative center coordinating services for one of Hanoi's most populated areas. This role highlights how a single ward manages functions for the entire district.
