Thuận Châu

The district extends across 1,535 square kilometers of mountainous terrain at an elevation of 885 meters in northern Vietnam.

The administrative region developed through the integration of multiple ethnic communities, including Thai, Mong, Kinh, Kho Mu, Khang, and La Ha groups.

Six primary ethnic groups maintain their languages and traditions within the district, with minority populations constituting 94 percent of local residents.

The district receives funding for infrastructure projects, including roads, irrigation systems, and educational facilities to support the local population of 172,763.

The Dry Laha and Kháng languages remain active communication methods among the indigenous populations of this mountainous district.
