Phu Long Bridge, Cable-stayed bridge in District 12, Vietnam
Phu Long Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge that crosses the Saigon River, connecting District 12 with Thuan An on the other side. It features multiple traffic lanes alongside dedicated paths for pedestrians and motorcycles.
Construction started in September 2005 and finished four years later, creating a major link between the two districts. This project significantly improved transportation connections across the river.
The bridge functions as a central meeting point between District 12 and Thuan An communities, supporting daily transportation needs for thousands of residents.
The bridge operates throughout the day and night for all types of traffic and is regularly maintained. Visitors can cross on foot or by vehicle depending on their preferred route.
The structure features an H-shaped main tower reaching 145 meters high and includes approach viaducts spanning 758 meters on one side.
